Hi there!
In this newsletter, we're exploring the exciting world of motion graphics and how you can use glows and gradients to add that extra touch of magic to your animations. Let's dive in with easy-to-understand insights.
1. The Magic of Glows
Imagine glows as a soft, radiant halo around objects or text in your animation. Glows make things shine and stand out. They create a magical and dreamy feeling. You can use glows to highlight important elements or to create a sense of enchantment.
2. Gradients: Blend Like a Pro
Gradients are like smooth color transitions that can transform your animation. They blend one color into another, creating depth and dimension. You can use gradients to make your backgrounds look amazing or to give objects a 3D effect.
TIP: (in After Effects) you can add a few gradients on top of each other and blend them all together with transparency values to create a new different look! I use this quite often!
3. Animation and Glows/Gradients
Adding glows or gradients to your animations can take them to the next level. Imagine a text that gradually glows or a background that smoothly changes from one color to another. These animations can captivate your audience and add a touch of magic to your work.
TIP: Add Glow / (or Deep Glow) and just animate exposure to add a bit of additional movement to the glow
